About Joelle Justiz / I  petitioned my town council to close down a street in order to host a street fair of locally owned businesses and non profit organizations. I've created a zine exploring people's racial identities and personal connections to the environment.  I was a grant recipient that hosted a summit for students across North Carolina to envision a sustainable economy.

I'm interested in the inextricable links between creativity and sustainability. I'm especially interested in people power;  that is,  Non Profit Organizations, alternative lifestyle choices, and other creative ideas that intend to challenge or subvert the status quo.

A just and sustainable world is being created, and I want to show how it's being done and who is doing it.

I want to lend my creativity and passion to supporting nonprofit organizations that are doing work to build a more sustainable world.
